Žilvinas Klimka was appointed a Member of the Competition Council for a term of six years starting from 24 August 2023. Prior to that, he worked for five years in the Office of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania as an advisor to the Economic Committee. From 2007 to 2018, he was a member of the National Commission for Energy Control and Prices.

Žilvinas Klimka graduated from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and from Mykolas Romeris University with a Master's degree in Law.
