- During the investigation, the Competition Council‘s experts shall be entitled to obtain from undertakings, natural persons and public administrative bodies documents, data, oral and written clarifications and other information necessary for conducting the investigation.
- Compliance with the requirements set by the Competition Council‘s experts to undertakings, their management bodies and their administrative staff is obligatory.
- Failure to provide information or failure to provide information in a timely manner, providing incorrect information necessary for conducting the investigation, as well as hindering the Competition Council‘s experts from carrying out dawn raids may impose on undertakings a fine of up to one per cent of the gross annual income.
- The Competition Council and its administrative staff must protect commercial and professional secrets of undertakings that they become aware of in the course of exercising control over the compliance of the Law on Competition.
