The Competition Council may process personal data of its website or social networks’ visitors. This data may be collected through cookies or browsing (IP address); besides, the authority may also collect data which a website or social network visitor provides through social networks or when contacting the Competition Council using the contact details and methods indicated on the authority’s website, as well as general (anonymous) information about the use of the website and information which allows to recognise and count the website visitors and monitor their visits and activities on the website.
Purposes of personal data processing:
- by using cookies, personal data is collected and further processed in order to ensure the functionality of the website, improve its operation and track information relevant to the users;
- personal data (IP address) of the Competition Councilʼs website users is collected and further processed in order to identify the number of unique visitors;
- personal data of the users of social networks used by the Competition Council is processed in order to provide relevant content and information related to the authority’s activities, upon request;

The Competition Council collects personal data of its website or social networks’ visitors through cookies or browsing (IP address) only having received a consent from the data subject (Point a of Part 1 of Article 6 of GDPR). The website user gives consent to the Competition Council to process personal data when contacting it using the contact details and methods indicated on the authority’s website (e.g. when submitting a “Report to us” application) and/or enabling the cookies on the website and/or on the browser.
