Today Mr. Šarūnas Keserauskas, the Chairman of the Competition Council, met with Mr. Algirdas Butkevičius, the Prime Minister of Lithuania, to discuss competition related issues.

State-aid and most recent inquiry into the market of raw milk and dairy products dominated at the meeting.

The Prime Minister has also promised to back up legislative reforms necessary to ensure financial independence of the institution.
