COMPETITION COUNCIL ALLOWS SWEDISH COMPANY TO GAIN INDIRECT CONTROL OF VAASAN GROUP OY
On 29 April, the Competition Council allowed Lantmännen Ekonomisk Förening to acquire 100 per cent of Lion/Visor Lux 1 Sàrl shares through a third-party company Pane Invest and, thus, gain indirect control of Vaasan Group. The latter company owns Vilniaus duona.
Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the Council acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant market.
