COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARED ACQUISITION OF 100 PER CENT OF MOTIS SHIPPING LITHUANIA LIMITED SHARES BY CGATES

On 3 February, the Council cleared an acquisition of 100 per cent of Motis Shipping Lithuania Limited shares by Cgates. Hence, the latter company gained control of Motis Shipping Lithuania Limited.

Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the Council acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant market.
