COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARED ACQUISITION OF 50 PER CENT OF SOCIALINIAI SPRENDIMAI SHARES BY ASETUS

On 3 February, the Council cleared an acquisition of 50 per cent of Socialiniai sprendimai shares by Asetus. The latter company together with G. Juknys and Š. Vilčiauskas gained joint control of Socialiniai sprendimai.
Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the Council acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant market.
