COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARS ACQUISITION OF 100 PER CENT OF JSC PERSONALO VALDYMAS SHARES BY JSC TELE2

On 11 September, the Competition Council (KT) cleared acquisition of 100 per cent of JSC Personalo valdymas shares by JSC TELE2.

JSC TELE2 provides mobile communication services.

JSC Personalo valdymas provides temporary employment, staffing, staff administration and mediation services.

Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the KT acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant markets.
