COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARS ACQUISITION OF 15 PER CENT OF AMBERWIND SHARES BY KAMINEROS GRUPĖ

On 23 July, the Competition Council cleared acquisition of 15 per cent of AMBERWIND shares by Kamineros grupė. The latter company together with Stemma Group and ENERCON INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER GmbH gained joint control of AMBERWIND.

Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the Council acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant market.
