COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARS ACQUISITION OF 22.19 PER CENT OF UAB FEGDA SHARES BY UAB MILSA

On September 29, the Competition Council (KT) cleared acquisition of 22.19 per cent of UAB Fegda shares by UAB Milsa and, thus, allowed Arvydas Gribulis, Rimvydas Šėrys and Gintaras Kazakevičius to gain joint control of UAB Fegda.

UAB Milsa supplies granite aggregates and their products, technological equipment and spare parts.

UAB Fegda is engaged in road construction.

Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the KT acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant markets.
