COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARS ACQUISITION OF 30 PER CENT OF UAB MŪSŲ REZERVAS SHARES BY ME HOLDING NT

On 28 October, the  Competition Council (KT) cleared acquisition of 30 per cent of UAB Mūsų rezervas shares by UAB ME Holding NT (all the company‘s shares together with already owned ones will amount to 100 per cent). Hence, the latter company gained a sole control of UAB Mūsų rezervas.

UAB ME Holding NT is engaged in business management, investment, real estate development and rent, provision of logistic services, etc.

UAB Mūsų rezervas is engaged in construction. The company also rents commercial premises.

Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the KT acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant markets.
