COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARS ACQUISITION OF 51 PER CENT OF PIGU BY MCI FONDAS AND KOKYBĖS KLUBAS

On 17 July, the Competition Council cleared acquisition of 51 per cent of Pigu shares by MCI.PrivateVentures Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamknięty and KOKYBĖS KLUBAS. The latter companies acquired the control of Pigu.

Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the Council acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant market.
