COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARS ACQUISITION OF 57,4 PER CENT UAB ŠIAULIŲ PLENTO GRUPĖ SHARES BY UAB ŠIAULIŲ PLENTO INVESTICIJŲ VALDYMAS

On March 18, the Competition Council (the KT) cleared acquisition of 57,4 per cent UAB Šiaulių plento grupė shares by UAB Šiaulių plento investicijų valdymas.

UAB Šiaulių plento investicijų valdymas intends to engage in portfolio management.

UAB Šiaulių plento grupė consists of companies engaged in road, railway, bridge and engineering network construction in Lithuania, Poland and Kaliningrad. The company consults the group of related undertakings on the matters of management.

Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the KT acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant markets.
