COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARS ACQUISITION OF SPECIALIZUOTAS TRANSPORTAS SHARES BY ECOSERVICE

On 21 April, the Competition Council cleared acquisition of 98.12 per cent of Specializuotas transportas shares by Ecoservice.
Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the Council acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant market.
