COMPETITION COUNCIL CLEARS ACQUISITION OF UP TO 100 PER CENT OF KAUNAS SKALBYKLA, UAB AND UAB AGLAJA SHARES BY LINDO UAB

On 21 October, the Competition Council (KT) cleared an acquisition of up to 100 per cent of Kauno skalbykla, UAB and UAB ALGAJA shares by Lindo, UAB.

Lindo, UAB is engaged in laundering, cleaning, rent of bed linen. The company also provides other related services.

Kauno skalbykla, UAB as well as UAB ALGAJA provides laundering services.

Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the KT acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant markets.
