COMPETITION COUNCIL‘S WEBSITE – ONE OF THE BEST DIGITAL MARKETING WORKS
The new website of the Competition Council (hereinafter – Council) was nominated among the best digital marketing works in the contest “Best Internet 2016“ organised by the Lithuanian business daily newspaper Verslo žinios.
67 projects competed in 12 different categories. The Council‘s recently re-launched website was one of the favorites in the category of websites. Besides, the Council was the only state institution to participate in the contest.
The new websiteis highly visual rather than text-led. It also has a detailed search system enabling to find decisions according to different categories. The website opens up some of the authority‘s data, allows to subscribe to the Council‘s newsletter. Moreover, it is fully compatible with mobile devices and embeds social media channels.
It is not the first award this year – the World Bank Group announced the Council among the winners of the 2015-2016 Competition Advocacy Contest, while antitrust and competition law journal and news service Global Competition Review (GCR) awarded the Council three stars out of five and listed among the most professional institutions in the world.
