COMPETITION COUNCIL SENT THE SO TO CINEMA OPERATORS

On April 8, the Competition Council sent the SO to major cinema operators and a film distributor in Lithuania. Forum Cinemas is a major cinema operator and also a leading film distributor in Lithuania. The company is suspected of restricting discount policies and thus fixing minimum retail prices with other cinema operators.
The investigation was started after having received leniency applications from market participants.
