The Competition Council concluded that the intended concentration will not result in a changing of concentration’s level or strengthening of the dominant position, any weakening of competition in the market.

2. The Competition Council decided to authorise UAB Rivona to implement concentration by acquiring a 50% shareholding of UAB Norfos vaistinė and by acquiring, together with UAB Esterita a joint control in accordance with the filed notification, since the intended concentration will not result in any strengthening or creation of a dominant position or any more significant restrictions of competition in the relevant markets.

3. The Competition Council resolved to permit Shibsted Baltics AS to implement concentration by acquiring a 50.98% shareholding of UAB Ekstra žinios in accordance with the submitted notification.
