JŪRATĖ ŠOVIENĖ AND JOLANTA IVANAUSKIENĖ HAVE BEEN APPOINTED AS THE MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL

On the recommendation of the Prime Minister, Algirdas Butkevičius, by the decree of 30 July 2013, the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė, appointed the lawyers, Jūratė Šovienė and Jolanta Ivanauskienė, as the members of the Competition Council (Konkurencijos taryba, KT) for a term of six years. It is the second term of office for Jūratė Šovienė, while Jolanta Ivanauskienė, prior head of the Prohibited Agreements Division, is to change the former Council member an economist, Sigitas Cemnolonskis.

„I am glad that such excellent professionals as Jolanta and Jūratė stay to continue their careers at the KT“, says the Chairman of the KT, Šarūnas Keserauskas, and expresses his gratitude to Sigitas Cemnolonskis for his input to the KT‘s activity, especially in the field of State aid.

Jūratė Šovienė and Jolanta Ivanauskienė will take office on 3 September.
