KT ALLOWS UAB LINAS AGRO TO ACQUIRE UP TO 100 PER CENT OF UAB ŽEMĖS ŪKIO INVESTICIJOS SHARES

On 16 August 2013, the Competition Council (Konkurencijos taryba, KT) allowed UAB Linas Agro Konsultacijos to acquire up to 100 per cent of UAB Žemės ūkio investicijos shares.

UAB Linas Agro Konsultacijos is engaged in the management of farming companies as well as UAB Žemės ūkio investicijos.

Having evaluated all the circumstances related to the merger, the KT acknowledged that the intended merger will not create or strengthen the dominant position, or significantly restrict competition in the relevant markets.
