REGIONAL COMPETITION CONFERENCE IN TARTU

On 4-5 June, representatives of the Competition Council participated in the Annual Regional Competition Conference – the 10th conference wherein the representatives from three Baltic States, Finland and Poland met in Tartu. During the conference the heads of the competition authorities together with the academics from the University of Tartu discussed matters on the topic “Baltic States in the current world economy“. In the discussions of working groups the participants exchanged their experiences related to the examination of competition cases and mergers, talked about the investigation related procedures.

Every year one of the competition authorities of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania hosts the Annual Regional Competition Conference. Next year the conference will take place in Lithuania.
