SCHIBSTED BALTICS AS AUTHORISED TO IMPLEMENT CONCENTRATION

Having concluded that the intended concentration deal will not create a dominant position or any significant restriction of competition in the relevant markets the Competition Council passed the decision to authorise Schibsted Baltics AS to implement the intended concentration deal by acquitting the 100 percent holding of UAB Žurnalų leidybos grupė according to the notification submitted to the competition authority.

According to the statement of the participants of the concentration the transaction is implemented with a view to acquiring sole control of UAB Žurnalų leidybos grupė. The undertakings participating in the concentration operate in the Lithuanian market for the publication of printed mass media by publishing a number of popular magazines and weeklies.
