Vilnius Regional Administrative Court (the Court) upheld Competition Council‘s decision according to which two Lithuanian construction companies Panevėžio statybos trestas (PST) and Irdaiva were fined for anti-competitive agreement.

The Competition Council found that the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries and members of its Presidium concluded an anti-competitive agreement by setting the amount of notary fees and agreeing upon their calculation procedure. The Council imposed EUR 88,400 fine on the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries, and fines ranging from EUR 100 to EUR 20,800 on eight members of the Presidium for the infringements of the Law on Competition and the Treaty of the Functioning of the European Union.
Vilnius Regional Administrative Court (Court) rejected a complaint by one of the occasion wear shops which was involved in a cartel that set a fixed dress try-on fee. The Court upheld the Council’s decision imposing a fine on the firm for the infringement of the Law on Competition.

Vilnius Regional Administrative Court (Court) rejected the complaints by NT partneriai and Karolinos turas and upheld the Lithuanian Competition Council’s decision, according to which the companies were fined for misleading advertising.
The Competition Council found that UAB Norvesta and the German company Sypra concluded a cartel agreement while participating in the radioactive scrap metal auction conducted by Ignalina nuclear power plant, and thus were fined EUR 27,500 and EUR 27,100 respectively.

The Competition Council found the Italian-based supplier Tecnoss Dental and its Lithuanian distributor UAB Implamedica engaged in fixing minimum resale prices of bone regeneration products used in implant dentistry. The infringement resulted in both companies receiving a total of EUR 175,500 of fines.

The Competition Council found a number of occasion wear shops operating in Vilnius guilty of a cartel that set a fixed dress try-on fee for customers. Firms received fines ranging from EUR 1 to EUR 1,960, with seven out of 12 cartel members admitting the infringement.

The Competition Council found that UAB Judira disseminated misleading advertising claims about the mat, head massage system and orthopedic pillow. For the infringement of the Law on Advertising the Council fined Judira EUR 1,230.
